Moderne Burger - Tasty Burgers, Delicious Shakes, and Addicting Fries! I love their burgers because they actually taste like real meat! Everything here taste very fresh. They do not use preservatives or fillers in their food. Oh, and their fries! They are fried to perfection! They are served hot and crispy and they taste fresh. Lastly, their milkshakes are very delicious! They are thick and fattening and they come with an extra cup filled with even more milkshake! Yum...
The Counter Burger is a wonderful burger joint, where you can customize your own burger and eat delicious fries! When you sit down, you fill out a sheet, where you can tick off the different combinations of toppings, burger meat, buns and sauces that you would want. You can basically build your ideal burger! So while I was here, I decided to select various toppings, that I felt would taste fantastic on my burger. I choose my favorite cheese! Brie!
I created a burger with 1/3 pound of beef, soft-ripen brie cheese, spicy pepperoncinis, grilled onions, with aioli on a hamburger bun.
The Fifty-Fifty - Fried Sweet Potato Fries and Crispy Fried Onions
Over all the place is definitely worth visiting, for the experience. The food taste delicious, and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. I look forward to returning, and building a different type of burger!
Usually after dinner, there is always room for dessert! In this case, we had two different choices of desserts, Cupcakes and Butter Tarts! I absolutely love the combination of a cupcake topped with a delicious buttercream frosting, and warm soft butter tarts. We definitely had some mouth watering dessert choices.
Big City Cupcakes - Strawberry Shortcake, New York Chocolate Cheesecake, After Dinner Mint, Truffle, Caramel, Triple Chocolate
Butter Tarts from Tartine
Best served warm, after heating in the oven!
I enjoyed my cupcakes from Big City Cupcakes, they definitely have a good selection of flavors, and very delicious tasting cupcakes. The only complaint is that the cupcakes are pretty pricy. The Butter Tarts from Tartine may possibly be the best butter tarts in Vancouver. Overall I would probably return to Big City Cupcakes, and I would definitely return for more yummy Butter Tarts at Tartine!
I heard about Dahlia Lounge after watching an episode of "The Best Thing I Ever Ate." After hearing Giada De Laurentiis rave about the crab cakes and the doughnuts, I was convinced to pay a visit. So I decided that on my next trip to downtown Seattle, I would visit Dahlia Lounge. The two dishes I had to try was the Crab Cakes, and the Made to Order Doughnuts. Here is what I ate! Voila!
Made to order doughnuts - seasonal jam and vanilla marscapone
Made to Order Doughnuts had a soft, airy chewy texture. They tasted like sweet, delicious bite sized pieces of fried goodness. They were accompanied with a side of delicious creamy vanilla marscapone, and sweet and tangy strawberry flavored sauce.
Here is how the FueledByFoodBlog-er eats doughnuts: First you stuff the doughnuts with Seasonal Jam, then you top it off with delicious Vanilla Marscapone.
I enjoyed my meal, by the time I finished my meal, my plate was spotless and clean. I absolutely loved their doughnuts. It is possibly the best doughnuts I've ever ate! I would definitely return again to order some doughnuts.
After strolling around Broadway, I was drawn to the aroma of sweet buttery crepes lingering in the air! It smelled so delicious that I had to have one!
I did have a nice day
Plain Crepe with Butter and Sugar - Tasted Delicious
Moii is a relatively new crepe shop on West Broadway. The place has a very pleasant ambiance, and a large selection of crepes and beverages. My thoughts of this place is positive at the moment. As of now, I would recommend this place to just about anyone that lives in the West Broadway, Kitsilano area, or anywhere in Vancouver. Its a nice little cafe that with a friendly atmosphere. I would definitely return for brunch, or for a nice evening snack.
The Crumpet Shop is a lovely little shop near Pikes Market in Seattle. I love visiting the crumpet shop because they serve delicious food, and its a great way to start the day! One of the many reasons why I love coming here so much, is because the atmosphere is very relaxed and I feel like I can just take my own sweet time to enjoy my food. The environment is quite simple and the people are usually friendly and polite.
The shop can get busy during the day, but that never stops me from buying my crumpets. I usually order my crumpets with a cup of tea and you should too! (Well you don't have to...)
Upon entering the Le Panier, you are welcomed by the warm aroma of fresh baked bread. Every time I travel to Seattle, it is essential for me to pay a visit to Le Panier to satisfy my pastry cravings. I love visiting Le Panier, because they sell a wide range of delicious mouthwatering pastries, cookies, and breads. They also serve delicious sandwiches and coffees to compliment your pastries.
Here are a few food pictures from my breakfast at Le Panier
Latte - Best way to start the day!
Chocolate and Almond Croissant - Smells delicious and tastes phenomenal when it is warm.
Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream from Bon Crepe is absolutely delicious! If you love matcha green tea, I HIGHLY recommend a visit to Bon Crepe. The ice cream has a smooth and creamy texture with a strong matcha green tea flavor. It taste fantastic! This is my new favorite place to go for soft served ice cream!
Mazazu Crepes have a light sweetness, with a slight wheat-like taste. The texture of the crepe is soft and thin, which makes the crepe a little floppy. In comparison to other stores, the crepes are slightly cheaper, however they do lack flavor. I find that their crepes are lighter and less oily compared to other shops.
Strawberry and Custard Crepe
Green Tea Shiratama Azuki Soft Ice Cream Crepe
The problem with this place, is that it takes very long for you to order, and wait for your crepe!
Overall, I still have mixed feelings about Mazazu Crepes. I enjoyed the filling of the crepes, over the taste of the actual crepes. Their crepes taste a bit bland, however their fillings make up for that. They do serve some good soft-served ice cream.
Maneki is one of those small obscure restaurants located around the international district in Seattle. This place serves a large variety of tasty foods. I was quite impressed.
I enjoyed a nice combo meal, followed by a delicious deep fried tempura ice-cream dessert. I was most impressed by the desserts, I've never had a poppy seed tempura crusted green tea ice cream before. So I was quite pleased, to find that all the flavors worked well together.
