Made some Pea Pesto and spread it on French Bread - The Recipe came from Giada De Laurentiis cook book. I happened to have some peas in the freezer, that nobody wanted to eat. So I decided to try Giada's recipe out. I usually don't like eating peas but this tasted pretty good! This is a great way to eat peas. I served the Pea Pesto French Bread Slices with a combination of salmon, capers, chives, shrimp and bocconcini cheese.

Twisted Fork Bistro
After hearing great reviews about Twisted Fork, I decided to come here and try it out. I came for the $25 three course menu, and the Tuesday Special, which is the $8 for mussels. The dinner experience was great, the meal was delicious, and the food was plentiful. Twisted Fork is probably not the best place to take a large group, because the place gets really crowded.
For my three course menu, I chose the grilled asparagus, the seared ahi tuna salad, and chocolate terrine. I must say, that the food was surprisingly filling, and tasted very fresh. The desserts were the best part of the meal!
Grilled Asparagus with Mushrooms
Mussels with Cream served with Fries (Yam, Potato, and Parsnip) - Delicious! They usually serve bread rolls during the dinner, the bread is GREAT to dip in the left over sauce.
Pepper and Rosemary Seared Ahi Tuna Salad - Very Fresh
Desserts! - My Favorite Part of Dinner!
Chocolate Terrine - Chocolate Mouse, and Raspberry Sorbet - Tasted very rich and delicious.
Tasted very lemony, and refreshing. Loved the fact that there were strawberries.
Overall I would return to this place. If you love desserts then you will probably enjoy the Twisted Fork Bistro.
Other desserts that I would recommend that I have not mentioned is the Creme Brulée. The Creme Brulée is light, creamy and has a very subtle light mint flvor. I recomend the Creme Brulée to anybody that loves

David's Tea
David's Tea is a wonderful shop with a large selection of teas to choose from. They have everything from Black, Green, White, Oolong, Herbal, Blooming etc. When ever I come to tea shops like this, I always have a hard time deciding what I want, because everything smells so wonderful!
Flavored Green Tea
I came to David's Tea during the summer for some Iced Tea. It tasted very refreshing. One of my favorites is their Watermelon Flavored Tea. If you love tea, this place is well worth visiting!

Jasmine - Las Vegas
Jasmine is a nice Chinese Restaurant located in the Bellagio. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, with a fantastic view of the popular fountain show. This is probably one of the best place's to view the fountain show, especially if you get the chance to sit near the windows.
Veggies
Peking Duck - I enjoyed this dish
Lettuce Wrap (Duck)
Sweet and Sour Pork, and Shrimp with Mayonnaise
Ma Po Tofu
Overall the service was pleasant, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was satisfying and enjoyable. I think after living in Vancouver, I have been exposed to a lot of GOOD Chinese food. So my expectation's for Jasmine was set high. I was not blown away, but the food was pretty good for a Chinese restaurant out of Vancouver. If you come from Vancouver, maybe you might want to skip this one out, unless you really enjoy fountain shows. (I think we saw a total of 5 shows)
If you come from a different town, with mediocre Chinese restaurants then maybe you will enjoy this place. This place has pretty good Chinese food.
I came here for dinner, so my review is based on my dinner experience. If I have the chance, I may try out their brunches. They seem to have an impressive Sunday Brunch, or so I've heard. So I may return for Brunch someday.

Ma Dang Goul
Korean restaurants usually tends to serve the tastiest bbq short ribs (only if it's done right). On this particular day, I decided to pay a visit to one of my favorite Korean Restaurants Ma Dang Goul. This place serves some of the tastiest Korean dishes. So if you enjoy you're BBQ meats and Korean food, you may enjoy your dining experience at Ma Dang Goul. I usually come here for the BBQ Combos. The Combo comes with your choice of BBQ meat, your choice of soup, and a few side dishes. It's worth it!
A jelly like side dish, tasted like there was a bit of sesame oil, not bad :)
Beef Short Rib - My Favorite - From the BBQ Combo Menu
Spicy Soft Tofu Soup - Very Tasty, I enjoyed this!

Fresh Bowl
Malaysian Cuisine is one of my favorites! I love the use of different spices, and the aroma of the food. Recently I visited Fresh Bowl, which is a small Malaysian Restaurant in Yaletown. What I love about this place is their Roti Canai. It's very light, crispy and flakey and it comes with a side of yellow curry sauce for dipping. The rest of the food, was okay... I would probably only come here for the roti canai.
Delicious Roti Canai, with yellow curry.
Tasty Mee Goreng

Mac and Cheese
Mac and Cheese is one of my favorite dishes, ever since I was a child. Although there are many versions of Mac and Cheese, the best ones are the homemade ones! This recipe comes from Jamie Oliver's Cookbook, "Jamie's Food Revolution." I highly recommend this book! I especially enjoyed this recipe because it is so simple, and very easy to make.
I added some leeks to this recipe, for added flavor.

Green Soup - Mushroom and Asparagus
So recently I had some really amazing soup around the Vancouver Yaletown area. I decided that I could probably do a decent job at making soup, so I attempted to create some mushroom soup! It is much lighter and smoother than the typical mushroom soup you get in a can. My soup probably contains more nutritious ingredients as well.
This mushroom soup has blended mushrooms, asparagus, onions, stock, and creme. Blending the soup makes the texture a bit more airy and light. It has a nice light green color because of the blended asparagus.
How I made the soup. I sautéed some of the onions, to add more flavor. Overall my soup taste very flavorful and tasty! I added all the ingredients together and brought the mixture to a light boil, then I blended the mixture till it was smooth.
I am even more excited to make more soups! So everyone out there, if you have veggies and stock in your fridge go make soup!
